Yesterday we celebrated my bestie’s birthday.
In Japanese culture it’s a significant one, thought to be an “unlucky” year of life. To counter the effects of misfortune, a party is thrown to ensure that the year gets off to a good start. And boy, was this the event of the season! ^.^
My bestie, being a wedding coordinator, planned THEE PERFECT night! Despite being set in the middle of a concrete urban oasis, it was elegant and classy with touches of golds, pinks, and champagnes.
And the best part? There was a DIY flower crown bar where guests could make and take home their very own flower crowns!
After wearing mine all night, I came home and thought Kainalu could wear it, too. :o).
His doesn’t fit quite as well as his fur-iend’s Mochi’s though! Lol!!!
